LEC provides training in the Oracle RDBMS product and related applications, as well as extensive LIMS training. LEC is a Preferred Implementation Partner for the Perkin Elmer Corporation, and their suite of their high-performance laboratory automation products.

  LIMS Validation Practice Manager

LEC is rapidly enhancing their offerings in the validation of LIMS, instrument interfaces, and related software products. We are looking for an experienced validation manager who is self-actuated, fluent with LIMS validation requirements, and superior skills in business and personnel management. Responsibilities will include recruitment and hiring, methodology development, and personnel management.

  • The successful candidate will possess:
    Thorough in-depth knowledge of LIMS validation approach and requirements, with at least 5 years experience

  • Comprehensive fluency with FDA validation requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in LIMS validation

  • Proven track record of fiscal and personnel management

  • Ability to build a team of validation professionals

  • MBA preferred, with an undergraduate or advanced degree in the sciences

  LIMS Implementer

The preferred skill set of a LIMS Implementer includes:

  • Advanced knowledge of commercial LIMS applications, programming, customization, and tailoring

  • Comprehensive laboratory operations background

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Project management background

  • A capacity for working independently as well as part of an on-site team

  • Successful candidates usually possess advanced or undergraduate degrees in Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, or related sciences, as well as and advanced or undergraduate degree in Computer Science. An MBA is a plus. Consideration is given for superior experience in implementing LIMS, with impeccable references

  • Language skills in addition to English are preferred, but not required

The LIMS Validation Expert position requires an extensive background in FDA and GLP requirements, a comprehensive knowledge of ISO, and proven success in developing and implementing validation plans for LIMS, chromatography applications, and related software and hardware systems.

The successful candidate should possess:

  • Advanced knowledge of commercial LIMS applications, and their validation requirements

  • Comprehensive laboratory operations background

  • ISO, GLP, and GMP knowledge

LIMS Engineer

The LIMS Engineer is responsible for technical extensions to databases, advanced database queries, instrument interfacing, and system integration, as it relates to client server architectures and the World Wide Web. This individual will interface with the project team, and will typically address some of the more complex technical challenges of the project.

The successful candidate should possess:

  • Oracle RDBMS server 7.1.6 or higher

  • Oracle Web Server

  • PL/SQL

  • Database Design

  • Multi-platform integration skills

  • DBA System Tuning skills

LIMS Implementation Assistant

The LIMS implementation assistant will execute LIMS design and tailoring requirements as delineated by the Project Leader. This position provides a great opportunity for technical growth and advancement.

The successful candidate should possess:

  • Working knowledge of Oracle

  • SQL Programming/Reporting Skills

  • Expertise with the Microsoft product set (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Product Data Management Specialist

The Product Data Management Specialist will perform all aspects of PDM implementation with major corporations.

The successful candidate should possess:
